We are a seven-physician practice of gastroenterologists serving the Rockland area for 30 years. Our providers are experts in the evaluation and treatment of digestive and liver diseases, including disease of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gall bladder, bile ducts and pancreas. In fact, DDAR is the largest gastroenterological practice in Rockland County in terms of patient volume as well as number of procedures performed annually. Multiple generations of families have entrusted their care to our physicians and staff. As a practice, we utilize the latest in advanced technology when screening, treating and managing your chronic and acute care needs. We utilize high-definition gastroscopes and colonoscopes and high-resolution monitors to aid in the detection rate of polyps at DDAR, with a polyp detection rate significantly higher than the national average. Our goal is to detect polyps at the earliest stages, thereby arresting and subsequently preventing colon cancer, as well as other forms of cancer.
It’s not just the latest technology that puts DDAR at the forefront. It’s our well-trained highly experienced doctors who focus on thorough examinations and can best evaluate your condition to achieve the most favorable outcome. DDAR providers stay current with the most recent research and the latest techniques. Always learning. Always growing. And always paying attention to the uniqueness of each patient.
Our doctors are on staff at Nyack and Good Samaritan Hospitals, where they provide inpatient consultations and perform outpatient procedures such as ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and other complex endoscopies.
We strive to cultivate and maintain strong trusting relationships with our patients and take pride in providing them with the comfort and convenience of five, in-office procedure suites. In these comfortable, state-of-the-art suites, we perform colonoscopies, upper endoscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopies. We also provide wireless capsule endoscopy (pill camera) of the small intestine and intravenous infusion of biologic drugs used in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease at our facility.
Because DDAR’s facility adheres to the highest standards in quality, safety, Infection control and compliance, we were awarded full accreditation by American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF), the nation’s largest not-for-profit accrediting organization known for setting the “Gold Standard” for quality ambulatory patient care.
To deliver compassionate, high quality, and comprehensive care through an unparalleled patient experience.
To become nationally recognized by setting the standard of care in Gastroenterology through innovative healthcare delivery models in the communities we serve.
